BCPS Spring 2021

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
So its weird as it has the Charge for the specialty exam, certification retake fee, recertification fee, and annual maintenance fee. I wonder what this is. Why would you need some of this on here. Like the initial exam price? Anyone know?

Hopefully means you passed and is an invoice to get reimbursement if you are in that army program 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Ya I hope it means I passed, but you'd think a reimbursement form wouldn't have filled out every section. As I haven't taken it a 2nd time. I don't know. This is the kinda stuff I was saying that needs more communication/explanation.

ArmyIgnitED is a tailored, intuitive resource that empowers you to achieve your educational goals. Whether you're at home or abroad, you'll have unlimited access to educational opportunities, support, and guidance throughout your desired Education Path, Civilian Path, Credential, or Army ROTC scholarship programs

This is what I found? Confused all I can say

Wait, so is new armyignitED tab not universal to everyone?
I have that button as well, and get the same PDF generated with a $2050 Fee, but also agree that it probably shouldn't have all those rows if it was personalized

Does anybody NOT have that button? (This one below with the arrow)

If the people on this thread put as much effort into studying as harrassing BPS for the scores to post, they would all score a 800. Jeeze guys, just chill and let BPS do their thing. I mean we all hate it when RNs call us and harrass us and here we are doing the same thing.

ICUPharm, do you have an ArmyignitED Invoice button on your Portal Home Page?

Waiting on the BCIDP.

Technically we only have to wait ~16 more days to wait until 60 days have passed since the exam window closure on 6/1. I'm rationalizing with myself that I've waited this long and what's another 2+weeks? It works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't 😛

The waiting is getting exhausting. If I need to retake, it's going to take me a bit to mentally prepare for studying/exam prep again.

still makes no sense as to why it takes so long. I just hope I passed so i dont have to worry. The suspense is killing me

It’s concerning that we don’t even have an exam release schedule at this point. Typically, at this point after exam window closure, we would at least know when results for each speciality are being released.

Nah, man nothing could have prepared you for a lot of the questions on the BCIDP and I mean a alot. Also there is a difference from a RN calling and harrassing us. This is an electronic exam.. The Naplex and MPJE dont take this long, and they are weighted too.

Certainly the grading of the test can't take this long-- do you think it's the curving of the test that takes awhile?

How badly do you need to curve a test so that people pass/fail. Unless like someone said above they curve the test so only around 60ish percent pass. That might take extra time.

I agree....well, like a previous post said, we have made it this far. Just have to be patient. It's a bit frustrating (especially when the login pages keeps going down) but we can't really do anything but accept the "60 day" fate.

I just want an anticipated date so I can stop compulsively checking here and BPS LOL. I got myself into the habit of checking this week because I truly thought we would get the results some time around now. So let's just agree the results will be posted on August 1 (a Sunday, whatever) and check back then 😒

Eh I will probably keep checking religiously just incase I have to sign up again. Giving me more time to study.

Came across this thread with some insights:

I was being sarcastic about the studying part. You are 100% correct in regards to the BCIDP exam. But I respectfully disagree with you in regards to the BPS scoring issue. BPS has always been honest. They literally say that exam scores will take 60 days. They aren't being jerks. Now I agree it shouldn't take this long, but they advertise this fact up front so why is everybody giving them a hard time with calling, FB messaging, etc? It is a waste of everyone's time and makes our profession look like impatient children. If they advertised reporting scores at 30 days and they failed to do that, then of course we should call them and inquire. The fact is we have no reason to expect scores now regardless of history. Look, I'd love to know my score just like everyone else, but we are on day 44 right now so they are in the window. Calling them isn't going to change anything. It is what it is.

Didn’t know asking BPS a simple question was so offensive… FYI they are the ones said early to mid July. 🤷🏻‍♂️
Not offensive,, just not impactful. When did they say this? You probably got some bad intel from one of their "lackeys. "

Not to me, they posted it on their FB in response to someone’s comment.
LOL, they slipped up for sure. If it aint on the BPS website I never believe anything. Oh well.... As of right now, looks like next week will be the earliest. This is the third exam I've taken (BCPS, BCCCP, BCIDP) and they typically post a release schedule on Wed/Thurs if I remember correctly and they haven't even done that yet.

I am beginning to accept the fact that it is going to probably take close to the full 60 days. 😢

I just really really hope I pass and don't have to take it again.

Do they release scores over the weekend?
Not that I've ever seen. The release process usually starts on a Thursday. So you get scores released Thursday, Friday, Monday, Tuesday depending on which exam you took. BCIDP was lumped in with BCCCP to my recollection and that happened on a Friday. BCPS is always last (Monday/Tuesday).

I called today, and was told 60 days at absolute latest, which would theoretically be 7/30; possibly earlier, but no assurances... ICUPharm probably on the money, and we might hear something next Wed-Friday ish
