a quick question. I'm trying to decide on where to go, and am thinking about all possible factors. Temple is one of my options, being a Pennsylvania state school. To anyone going to Temple or Pitt from out of state, is it probable to become a Pennsylvania state resident after one year? According to google, the answer is yes, but is it really that easy? thanks.

no it isnt easy, you must prove that you didnt move to the state to go to school.
you must show that you have every intention on staying here after finishing school.
along with paying state taxes, since that helps pay for your cheaper tuition.
