After long waiting bench extension has been approved
just want to know how many of you took or will take any course praparaton and if yes which course ucla duggan...
or just practicing yourself
any recommendation....????

Did u send the right postage for ur typhodont because if it is incorrect or if u don't send them rt size box they will not think about it???? 😕

This long waiting for the RT result is torturous and my wife is a nervous wreck right now. Can we sue CA DB for cruel and unusual punishment for making us wait so long? If a person has too much time she/he will come up with different crazy scenarios. One such example is my wife thinks those who got the typhodont back are those who failed the exams, because the CA DB is keeping the typhodonts of those passed for evaluation and comparison. For me I will not give the CA DB so much credit. The gradings have LONG since finished and the CA DB is not going to get together the North and Southern CA examiners to look at the typhodonts again.

The April RT exam is not fair to those taking the exam at USC, especially to those taking the exam on the first day.

Why? Coz' the preps are the SAME!! 😡 Why the DB does that is beyond me. I expect the passing rate has a strong correlation to the exam date.

Better check with the Board .As far as I know most of us who took the USC RT received the typodonts even before the UOP RT was conducted. The Uop guys however have not yet received their typodonts.

I already tried to contact the board , but like always nobody answers.I can only leave a message and nobody ever calls back!! 😡
The extensions I've tried so far are 2296 ( i think Virginia hasn't answered the phone in years) , 2340 , 2326, 2306.
Do u know of any other extensions where somebody actually answers??

I talked to dental board on wednesday and that lady over the phone told me that for UOP result it will be around june 9th,and when i asked her why it is taking too long so she said that b'coz of new exam format and typodent issues we r taking more time to figure out everything properly,.
lets see whether she is telling truth or just one more reason .

I dont think it matters that everybody got the same exam, everybody knows that your work on that particular day should be good whatever preperation u may get!!

i did give the exam in UOP on the first day and believe me we had no idea we would be getting the same exam, i had tried every other permutation but who knew it would be the same.I dont think we felt any better then what u guys did!!!!!!

Hi everybody, for those who are interested in maniquin, I found this in ebay, may be you wanna look at it. Best luck for all who took the bench in April, USC & UOP, and may be is better stop assuming for the board, lets wait for the outcome and from there see what happend, because otherwise everybody is gonna go crazy and nuts. I did talk to the operator several times and every time she transfers me to the examination unit and nobody answers.

i also gave exam on 1st day of UOP and its true that though exam was same but nobady expected that it will be exactly same preps will come and i was surprised when i saw that paper as if nobady can think that they will repeat the exact same preps. and also its true how u perform on the day of exam that is main thing even u had practised that prep for thousand time but one thing goes wrong at that time u can't do anything.

Hi All, the first timers is always a difficult thing,i really agree, advantages are less for the reason being a first exam,if the rest practiced those prepes or not is a different issue.I knew people that did practiced them and those who dont; more importantly, what really is not appropiate is the time the board has taken to give the scores.In my case, doing it the first day and now more than 45 days and still dont know my score is dissapointing;so i ask myself ,not only for the stress of being the fisrt day i have to wait this long, then the stess of thinking(since my typondont i received it in 2 weeks or less)did i fail?there can be thought so many probabilities and the answer right now will be the same..................uncertainty, so for know whilethe board takes their time so nicely,because its not them,and they dont even bother to post or have a well ordered information procedure in their site or office,patience seems the only answer, as well as letters if thought so.Ireally wish to you all the best in the exam,the only purpose at the end is to be able to fullfill our careers,and in this long journey,eternal seems to me, lets keep it strong,for our mind, health and well being,lets hope for good results,and may be faith the last to be lost.

I do agree with u,this torturous wait is too much,i definately agree that the wait has been the longest for USC people.I really hope there is some light at the end of the tunnel and that there `is a high passing rate.Do u think duggan knows anyhing about the no. of people who passed?
Anyway i have a feeling we will be getting the result this week.Lets hope i am right.

There is my friend, she trainned with Dr. Manuel De Leon and UOP as well, and she just told me last night, SHE PASS!!!! an she took the exam at USC April 8th. She got her score yesterday afternoon, and she is from San Fracisco...
Lets keep praying, for the best outcome, Goog luck for averybody...and keep posting any new...

Unfortunately I didn't make it. And the amazing thing is that I failed the amalgam which I passed in both of the UCLA mock boards that I took!

Does anybody know if there is a way to request re-grading??
My exam was on april 9th.

Unfortunately, my wife also did not make it. She took the exam on April 8 at USC. She had taken Duggan classes.

She has to try again.....
