Retaking the MCAT and wanna know what prep materials are the best by subject

Got access to pretty much everything:
TBR, TPRH Workbooks, EK 1001/101, Kaplan, even TPRH ICC [In-class compendium] WITH instructors-only detailed explanations (people normally dislike TPRH ICC because it has answers with no explanations). The list goes on...
Can't possibly do them all, hence this thread.

Did mostly Kaplan stuff the first time around. Got a 31. 11 and 12 in sciences. sh*tty verbal.

Strong science background (12/13 science avgs on AAMC PTs) so I'm NOT WORRIED ABOUT CONTENT REVIEW. I need accurate, informative, and predictive practice material. Something to help break the 14 barrier in sciences and to give me a clue with verbal.

I know TBR is often ranked the best overall here, but Im curious about the best in each subject since I have access to so much and the best overall is different from the best individually

Also, did most of the obvious verbal options already [EK101 and TPRH Verbal]. Currently redoing.

Thanks

no thoughts?
I really think this question could help everyone if we all put our views in here.

I'm in the same situation. Did well on the sciences but poorly in verbal.

I would assume the best practice after TBR is TPRH science workbook. I never tried Kaplan. What did you think of the Topical Tests? I was told the Subject and Section tests are good, but haven't heard anything about the Topicals.

Biology: 1. EK Bio (for content) + BR Bio (for passages and further topic depth if needed) 1. TPR Hyperlearning, detail oriented + TPRH SW 3. Kaplan

Physics: 1. BR 2. Nova 3. TPR Hyperlearning 4. EK/Kaplan

Verbal: 1. EK 101 Verbal 2. TPR Hyperlearning Verbal Workbook 3. BR 4. Kaplan (Avoid if possible)

Organic Chemistry: 1. BR, by far 2. TPR Hyperlearning 3. EK/Kaplan

General Chemistry: 1. BR, by far 2. TPR Hyperlearning 3. EK/Kaplan

Extra Practice Material: 1. TPR Hyperlearing Science Workbook, good source of practice passages 1. AAMC Official Guide to the MCAT Exam (most representative material available) 2. EK 1001 series, helps nail down basics

Hmm. I see.

BR for all except verbal? Lol nice.

What about discretes? Like TPRH SW discretes vs. EK 1001?

Also, it seems many others disagree about TBR Bio. Its supposedly unecessarily detailed?
