Better to turn in app with planned GRE or taken?

Hey everyone, I'm sure this question has been asked but I couldn't find it. I was wondering if it is better to put in your apps as planning to take the GRE and turn it in a little more early, or to wait and put it in as taken. I am planning on taking it the second week of September and I wont be done with my apps till the around the first week of September (have to wait for references/a few more hours ). Any suggestions? Thanks a bunch!

From the research I have done by asking programs this tends to be a program specific question.

I would submit now so you can get your GPA and app verified and then just add the scores when you take them. If you wait untill sept you will hit the rush of apps and it could take several weeks to get your app out
