During recovery from oxygen debt, which of the following does not occur?

a. glucose -> pyruvate
b. pyruvate -> lactate
c. lactate transported to the liver
d. lactate -> pyruvate
e. oxaloacetic acid -> citric acid

i know that during o2 debt glucose/glycogen -> lactate
during recovery lactate goes to the liver where it is converted into glucose.. but that only eliminates (c)

I would say that pyruvate->lactate does not occur...b/c since you're recovering from o2 debt, there's no need to covert pyruvate to lactate and that pyruvate can go to the mito. to be converted to acetylCoA
