Dental school prerequisites require, at minimum, 3 credits of Biochemistry.
However, do most people just take 8 credits of Biochemistry 1 & 2 or 4 credits of Biochemistry?
There are no 3 credit Biochemistry course at my school.

I know what you mean.

Take the four credit class, but lab is recommened too. Although, I didn't take lab. I just took the 4 credit class.

could just be the school you go to. At my school they offer Biochem 1 and general biochem which are both 3 units. So may just depend on the college you go to right now

I have questions in my biochemistry class and wanted to know if there is anyone on here that could help me.

If so plaese reply to me with an email or contact information. I could send you the questions I need help with. Thank you.

You'll do better posting a new thread with your specific questions, and probably in the DAT forum (or even MCAT), though pre-dental will probably work as well.

Stacker: I can only assume most people take the 4 credit if at all possible, but not both I and II; assuming you have the time or are considering an extra science class, I would take an upper level bio class over Biochem II. I wouldn't take the lab unless you really want to for some reason, or feel the extra work won't be a burden, it's not typically required. (I hate labs, so I'm biased here).

Hello, your forum name caught my eye.
I'm into firearms, particularly handguns, and I'm quite familiar with subcompact firearms produced by "Kahr". They make popular guns such as the PM9 in 9mm and 40 S&W. Is your name adopted after the firearm manufacturer?

my school offered a single 4 credit biochem through the biology department (which i took) and two semesters of 3 credit biochems through the chemistry department. no lab was offered, that i am aware of.

i doubt it really matters what you take so long as you have 3 or more credits.

I'm familiar with Kahr Arms, but I did not take the name from them. It's the name of a character in a relatively old playstation game, Xenogears. Only interaction I've ever had with any firearms was the standard military M16A2, and Baretta M9.

I only took Biochem 1, it was a 400 level course with only 3 credits. It was enough
