Biochemistry Lab??

Hi everyone.
I know more and more schools are moving to require 3 credit hours of biochem, but I haven't seen a single school require the biochem lab. I was wondering if you guys think it would be a good or bad idea to take the lab? I don't want to take an extra, difficult lab if it isn't necessary, but I'm not sure how skipping the lab looks to dental schools.

As you mentioned, it is not required for most schools. Might look good to have such a hard lab under your belt but prob not worth it if you dont need it for your major.
