Biochemistry Requirement/Recommendation

I am taking Biochemistry I next semester, and my school offers the lab as a separate course. In other words, there is a lecture portion and a lab portion, each of which you sign up for individually. Are schools that require/recommend Biochemistry looking only for the lecture portion or the lab as well?

Most schools (the ones that I'm looking at) only require one semester of Biochemistry without the lab. So I think you don't really need the lab just lecture.

Most schools don't require the lab section, you can still check each schools requirements to be 100% sure but its likely you're safe without it.
