National Board of Examiners in Optometry Yearly Performance Report – ASCO

I'm not surprised Puerto Rico is low performing on this list but I am surprised that Salus and MCPHS are. I wonder why they are struggling, especially Salus, for being around some time?

My guess is they accept a lot more people that they shouldn't based on academic qualifications or other factors, I know MCPHS does this with many of their programs like pharmacy, resulting in a high drop rate.

I can see that but I still cant see how Salus is struggling. And Im surprised that Chicago Midwestern didn't do too bad, compared to these schools. Any students at any of these schools comment on how the program actually is?
