I know this is super late. I am looking for a question bank to go through for NBPME part one. The one on the NBPME website are way too easy as stated by all the 3rd years and professors from Scholl. Does anyone know where I can run through some practice questions? I have no idea how I stand right now. 😱

CORRECTION: It is now called the APMLE (American-Podiatric-Medical-License-Exam) with 3 parts. NBPME (National-Board of-Podiatric-Medical-Examiners) is not the right name anymore.

WOW! So to get a podiatry license in MOST states you have to take 3 separate $900, 4 hour APMLE computer tests via PROMETRIC, INC test centers and spend a total of $2,700 dollars (if you pass each test once). Why not just take a 12 hour straight APMLE at a PROMETRIC Test center and spend $2,700 dollars in one shot during the second half of the PGY-1 year! By then, as PGY-1s, we are 'experts' in 4 years worth of podiatry school knowledge (from the Krebs Cycle to the brachial plexus to a vertical mattress to an Austin in one continuous stream of biomedical-clinical content!)

way to be constructive DPMer. I still don't get your posts. Instead of people liking to hear themselves talk, do you like reading what you wrote?

Not to disregard your messages, but please stay on topic. Practice questions for Boards part 1, where do I find them? I need questions that are equivalent to the detail/difficulty of the exam.

I understand your plight abraham917. I have posted a few threads asking about board review software, etc with no replies either. But the lack of response could be that no one has used the software in question in my post. Who knows. 😕

Unfortunately, nothing is put together for podiatry like the USMLE that has question banks for MD students that I have heard of.

But I am sure you understand how you perform on practice exams may not be the same as test day. You may do better or worse. But I understand that you want questions with more difficulty to POSSIBLY gauge your weak areas.

But isn't part 1 boards coming up in a few days? :scared:
