Bold vs. Not Bold

    Ok.....people who are smart or mods, can someone tell me what is up with these bold posts vs. the non bold ones........i dont get it :confused: What does it mean when the thread is bold?

    when it is bold:
    1. you havent read the post
    or
    2. you have read it but someone has posted something new that you have not yet read.

    when it is not bold:
    1. you have already read the thread and there is nothing else new for you to read.

    uhhhhhhh..........well that doesnt really work because there are plenty of threads I HAVENT read and they are not bold!!

    i think bolded threads are ones that have new posts since the last time that you logged on. after you read one of these threads, it will become unbolded.

    oh and just randomly sdn messes up a lot so threads we havent read wont be bold all the time. this is especially true of older threads if we stay on the site for a while.

    cant explain why it happens for me at least. but it does.
