Ok.....people who are smart or mods, can someone tell me what is up with these bold posts vs. the non bold ones........i dont get it 😕 What does it mean when the thread is bold?

when it is bold:
1. you havent read the post
or
2. you have read it but someone has posted something new that you have not yet read.

when it is not bold:
1. you have already read the thread and there is nothing else new for you to read.

uhhhhhhh..........well that doesnt really work because there are plenty of threads I HAVENT read and they are not bold!!

i think bolded threads are ones that have new posts since the last time that you logged on. after you read one of these threads, it will become unbolded.

Slight refinement:
BOLD --> new, unread posts in a thread since your last visit to forum.

spaz - you beat me to it.

oh and just randomly sdn messes up a lot so threads we havent read wont be bold all the time. this is especially true of older threads if we stay on the site for a while.

cant explain why it happens for me at least. but it does.
