basically, i came back home today, bombed my law themed communication class midterm(which is my major). this is my last quarter!!
i had no idea what half of the issues are and the rules appliable in the hypotheticals in the test.
I HATE LAW THEMED UNDERGRAD CLASSES!!!
ahhh!!!! i'm gpa is not uber fantastic, 3.76.. but ahhhh!!! i think i must've gotten like a F on this friggin midterm.
i think to drop the damn class.
how terrible does it look with a W on my transcript.
i think with this W, i'll have two W's in four years.
the 1st one i dropped, then took it again next quarter, and got an A+...
so.... im never so careful about my grades, but now since i decided to pursue med school, i'm basically freaking out about everything.

--- most of the sentences contain one type of error another. they directly reflect the level of distress suffered immediately after the said midterm. please laugh at it if you wish. it is fine. -- edit.

Do a search, man. A W here and there won't kill you. Two in four years won't kill you, especially with a 3.76 (which a lot of people on the forums would consider pretty 'uber fantastic').

Relax, take a breath, and drop the course. A W will look better than an F.

So many sentence fragments.
One line each.
Understand hard.

Seriously though, I had like 50 billion W's and I got in just fine with a far poorer gpa than that. People tend to think that the adcomms are number-crunching robots without regard to the complications of life, but contrary to popular belief, they're human too. Have some flaws, it'll make you stand out. Anyway, tangent over.

Oh and by the way, what's a law-themed undergrad class?

i'm sorry about my writing. it is the worst when i'm freaking out.
hmm, i'm a communication studies major, so we have classes such as speech and law, freedom of communication (first amend class: indecency, prior restraint, fighting words, porn, etc), some court classes, and some legal rhetoric classes. i think 1/3 to 1/4 of the professors in my department has a JD and a PHD.
a lot of com majors want to go to law school.
the reasons i think 3.76 isn't that great is because most com majors i know all have fantastic gpa's, 3.8 is very normal around here. seriously, all my friends are getting latin honors at graduation.

...which is why i can't ever be a journalist or work in the media.
i dont want to do show business either.

Not even like ventriloquism or a circus clown? Why not!?

FYI - to make you feel better...I hated my comm law class too in my undergrad journlism program. I got a B, but afterwards the TA admitted he'd screwed up grades, and I should have had an A, but it was too late to change the grade. Sucked! But I feel your pain - the class was really really hard. A 3.76 is a really good GPA though - don't sweat it.

too much physical demand.....
hah~~

too much physical demand as a clown.
i am working with a really cool movie right now and i hope one day to be one of those "set doctors". movies hire doctors to go to more exotic locations with the crew, such as mongolia, guatamala or something. i would love to work that kind of job. it's just a thought.
