book arrivals and test date?

I was planning on a May test date (my retake) and am going to follow SN2ed's schedule. However, I just checked my order confirmation and some of my books won't be here until possibly the 27th of January! Yikes! Normally this wouldn't be a huge deal, but I'm a non-trad who has to work. I work weekends only, 7a-7p both days, and usually only manage light studying before I crash after work. (Will most likely have my "break day" be a work day, then on the non-break workday, will do 45 of PS and 45 min of verbal) I am going to see about taking a leave of absence later on down the line but can't ask now because we're so short-handed. Am I an idiot to still consider a May test date?

buy them from someplace...amazon?...use them till u get your books...return them....
