Hey all, I'm entering an M.S. program in the fall and am thinking about also taking one or two ridiculously easy undergrad intro courses to boost the science gpa - i.e. pre-calc. (even though I've completed calc 1 & 2 in college). Is this acceptable, or does it look extremely bad on the ol' app.?

Either you're a natural redhead or a troll.....I haven't figured out which yet......

...Do we have a problem with natural redheads, Mr. Murphy?

😉

when we take over the world and force them to let us into med school, we should soooo start an evil medical clinic.

Ohh, yeah...topic at hand.

That's...really not going to help. Medical schools don't care that you can review well, they want to see that you can keep on learning. It'll drag up your GPA, but you're still going to look like a tool. Bad idea.

You won't be able to take pre-calc if you took I and II. Schools usually, if not always, only let you go forward, not backwards. If you must pad your GPA find courses you're interested in (because you'll do well) or find easy courses that you can classify as BCPM. Of course, what apnea says has some weight and schools want to see you can handle upper level science courses.
