i called nicole today and she told me that my application was reviewed and the letter was sent out this morning.

getting so tensed here

hey pink peanuts, r u sure only 150 were interviewed. bu started the interviews in sept and went on till march 11.(am i right?) every week they have minimum 10-12 students for interview. did they stop the interview process for sometime? arent we talking more than 240 students here?i am confused . can some1 tell me more abt this ?i am curious

700. tht means even if they interviewed for 30 weeks , they would have interviewed 20 plus candidates each week. 700 must have been the number of applications this yr.
whn i interviewed thr were 12 including me.
pinktooth, wednesdays used to be a good time coz they had interviews on thursday.but i dont know when would be a good time to call,now that the interviews are finished.

they interview every thursday
they have started interviewing people from oct-march 11
this comes up to 22 thursdays . and in dec they had christmas . so school was closed
say 20 days , each day they may interview upto 12-15
so it comes upto 240- 300
only if they interview 35 students at a time then they can interview 700 .

somewhere the calculations are going on😡

may be she meant that they received 700 applications!!!!
her accent is so difficult to understand
i am so confused .

whatever it is 700, 150 , 300 the final outcome is we couldnt get acceptance letter

lets pray for the best, we still have a chance

Hi pinktooth,

try calling her btwn 10:00am-12:00pm--if u dont get her first, try after 30mins....I use to do that !!😀 U will get hold of her on 2nd or 3rd time......

also, make sure u get hold of her soon, because I haven't receive my surface mail yet !!. And guess what, by april 1st I have to deposit $3000. Probably that was the reason that she faxed me my letter on Monday!!

And when I was interviewed ie on 19th of feb near the tail end there were only 6 people so reduce the number further..
but all said it only matters if one gets a call..🙁

what would have happened if you hadnt called them on monday . because u have mentioned that u havent recieved the letter yet and its april 1 now

I recieved another disheatening news today.Called up Nicole and heard that she's on leave from friday(today) to next thursday🙁
Guess that just leaves me with friday 'coz I am leaving US on saturday...

I have to help my parents tomorrow + on Sunday in moving . I also have to take my shots on the 6th + the 8th ,then I will leave on the 9th . I already started packing .
