I agree with you...its just impossible to take the test by Jan 1st. The next immediate date thats available is Jan13th. Is there a ny way to book tje TOEFL test earlier than that...???

I guess there is no other way.....And they wont review ur application unless u give the toefel..as witout it ur application wont be considered complete....i think you were a little late buddy.......Good luck
 
hi.. i have submitted my sec application a week ago...haven't received any complete application under my email...is it too late for for this cycle.

it might take few more days since its always busy at the end of the cycle...good luck

Dont worry u will get the application complete in Jan...BU is closed i guess till 2nd Jan.....So u wont hear frm them as of now
 
any female student who wants to share accomodation for BU interview on february 9 ?

hey congrats buddy. can u share ur stats plz. i'd got an application under review email 40 days back. but haven gotten any updates yet. a little worried now?
i have 88/3.83/112
2 years clinical experience along with 1.5 yrs teaching experience.
 
My stats are 90/103/3.19
I applied on 1st sept and got review mail on 22nd sept...
I have been working as a dental assistant since 2008 and have MBA degree too

I applied in mid October and I got email that my application is under review on 15th dec......can any one tell me when I will get interview call? or is it too late for me and they will send me for the next application cycle?🙄
 
Hi, Congratulations to all those who interviwed and got accepted at BUGSDM... It would be great if anyone of u could share their interview experience and let us know as to how many people from the admissions committe interviewed you and who were they ? Thanks.
 
how do i update the experience information to boston and other univ.... i know this question was posted somewhere in the forum...but could not find it....thanx

The interview is very relaxed and friendly. The staff and interviewers treat you very well, and make sure your anxiety is relieved before you go for the interview. They ask you simple questions about yourself and your dental education and experience till date. Nothing fancy or scary, just simple conversation. Be honest and humble, that's the key. Good Luck!

Don't worry, as far as I know, BU has interviews till March. Maybe drop in an email to the admissions committee and inquire about your status. Good Luck.

maybe call their office to find out. if you be polite and inquire, they will certainly tell you.
 
i called BU yesterday to find about the current status of my application. i got an email on oct 4th , 2011 that my application is under review. since then i havent heard from BU.
they said that formal interview will be till march 1st , 2012 but somtimes they send interviews ( usually a very few ) after that date too if somebody changes his/her mind. and he also told me that most of the seats have been filled already but he cannot tell me how many exactly.

does anybody know that how many students have already been selected in BU?

and does everyone whoseever apples to BU gets an under review email or they send it to some shortlisted candidates only?


my stats are 85 part 1
3.86 gpa
96 toefl
and i also emailed BU later that iam working as a dental asssistant since last four months and also a supplementary letter of recommendation from the dentist with whom iam working.

what are my chances???

Yah if the interviews are till 1st March then i think someone here got an iv of tat date..so pretty much the slots must be full...but u never knw...:xf:

I meant the interview slots are almost full.....as someone said that 1st march is the last iv batch.....

As far as no of students selected goes no one can answer tat...i can only say that the facebook group has 23 members still........so hope there r plenty of seats left....
So i said wat he meant is tat the interview slots are full not seats..cos there is no point giving out interview invites till 1st march if all the seats are already full....

All i can advice u rite now is improve ur toefel score......Bu prefers students over 100

True that but just some news from BU I called them up 2 days back had a talk to the guys who is incharge of the admissions. He was very polite but the bad news says atleast the invitations have been given so evry1 has been already invited 1st march was the last batch to get invitations.He did not tell me in these words but he made me understand that if some1 backs out or rejects a seat then ur application is still active so pretty much done with BU. I myself haven't got a call so upset with it but cant help.

Yah tats wat im saying...All the interview slots are full...Now if anyone declines the iv or leaves admission for watever reason then new slots just might open up...
