I had a doubt regarding the application under review mail.

I submitted my supplemental application on Oct 17, and got a mail BU Application fee paid.

this is the mail i got.

You will be notified by e-mail when your application is reviewed by the Admissions Committee. Be advised, applications are often reviewed multiple times throughout the admissions cycle. An applicant may be invited for an interview at any point throughout the interview cycle. Therefore, your file will remain active until you are informed otherwise. Interviews will be held between mid-October up until mid-March.

So will they mail again when application is under review? Does BU not call guys with 85-90 scores

It has been a while since I got the same email. I am not expecting to get an interview because my score is not that good, but I think you have a great chance of getting one. Good luck!

I think they send a separate application under review mail around a week later after submitting ur fee, tht ws the way i ggot!!!

If you have updated it in your CAAPID profile and have not received the "under review" application from BU, as far as I know you should be fine because it is already there when they begin to review your file.

Wichevr score report u askin either nbde or toefl...both can b simply send by loggin on to ADA website n thn nbde1 under testing heading or toefl ets account ...for both u can make online requests for additional score copies

Hi, just to clarify. I received my IV invitation on Friday and a friend of mine on Tuesday. So it doesn't look like that they have a special day to send e-mails.

In the BU application form there is one essay I have to write about any Connection I have with BU. However, I dnt know anybody at BU so if I leave that essay, will it count against me? Please give me your advice.
Secondly, though I have researched about the school from the school's website I still want to have some ideas about the school's special features from you all.

Why don't give them a call? For starters you will talk to someone from admissions, that way it could go into your essay something about BU that you learned from an insider, and not an online forum. 🙂

To get a DDS/DMD, as far as I know, no...

I don't think it mandatory for some Master/PhD programs though...

No...you are not eligible to even apply for DDS/DMD witout taking NBDE part 1.....Your application will not be processed witout your score ..........some colleges require the applicant to have passed both NBDE part 1 and part 2 to be eligible to apply...And if you are planning to take exam next year then probably some rules are gonna change

hey,

I have 90+ score but, I do know some of the people who are enrolled into the program this year with below 90 score. I think SOP acts as a big decision making factor. Coz last I applied with the same score to BU in nov but, no response. And this year my score is the same but, I put my best efforts to write down my SOP and with some home country experience yet I applied in oct only.
And they do consider the re-applicants too as someone just wrote in one of the posts that they don't. But I think they do.
