yeah my vote is still for vis on the simple logic that WildZoo had implicated them with a whole methodology and then got ate. i think it's easy to get wrapped up on reads on reads on reads, but to me the most suspicious people are the ones who WildZoo directly implicated so...

I hear you, and I was one of the people who voted for Vis yesterday, but it does feel like going for the person who called you out as the most likely to be a wolf is an extremely low value play for the D1 kill.

There may have been disagreement among the wolves, but I've never played a game like this where you want to take out the person who just called you out (unless you're about to win and it doesn't matter).

Vis is still in my "hmm" book, but she's been really reasonable over the last 18 hours.

I'm still basically in the same place I was yesterday considering there was really no vote movement to violet and she didn't give me a reason to feel better about her. I put my vote back there today. Only difference is I feel a bit better about being on that vote now considering a few of my village reads or leans are feeling wolfy vibes from that direction too

I don’t see the wolf reasons for doing this, though. It would be very easy to say that she felt there was resistance or that she felt good about the reasons others were voting me or something if wolf!stoat needed to make up a reason to vote me. The apparent inconsistency certainly pinged me but on reflection, since it was in the same post so it’s like she said it and forgot (indicatong fake wolfhunting), I don’t think I see it as wolfy. I’m curious as to @bluestoat’s reasoning, though (sorry if I missed it)

Didn't miss it, I'm on my phone at work and want to reply on a computer so that it's easier to multi-quote everyone asking me that, and to respond to some things that got me wolf read. Hard to be thoughtful if you're also like "oop time to transfer a gel"

Who’s we? There’s 21 people in this game and only 2 are voting for meats.

I’m voting for meats because the April push rubbed me the wrong way and because it felt like she was trying to shade Alley in a way that felt disingenuous.

“We” refers to the majority at the point that I posted while no one was talking about April (or no one was answering questions people posed about April). But since it’s one side vs the other (April vs meats) it makes more sense

Imo that's the best way to set it up as a wolf. The genny thing was already addressed as odd because a wolf might benefit from keeping a frequently misread villager in the thread. I doubt that wolf!Ivy would even convince the pack to NK genny as a retaliation. Then: Wouldn't you want to delay the village's first successful yeet for as long as possible? Then, wouldn't nightkills become a matter of strategy based on observable thread dynamics? You wouldn't want to NK someone just for a possible PR; maybe you also want a smokescreen or think it can create a big ripple to get that player out. Done right it can create unrest and distrust in the village and let them self-immolate. Reasonable villagers should also be among the first to be removed, I'd think.

The PM was pretty active on Wednesday and since then has died down a lot - we're on the second page of our PM's. I get the feeling Octo is really overwhelmed by the amount of posts in the thread because twice now in the PM he has stated that he is trying to read/catch up. He has given me a few reads too, but most have been piggybacking off of what other people have said. As for their knowledge, they haven't asked me much about how the game works and they know how to ISO (although it is not super hard to figure out on your own). Feels like a noob who has a good understanding of the game for not having played before.

I’m wondering if some of their knowledge may come from another source like wolfchat and if you have a 2 page PM that’s been significantly more active than he’s been on thread.
If I could vote that is where I would put it right now to see what he does today. He talked a lot about pressure with ivy. He could use some.

Which makes me feel like Genny was a 3p or villager/vig kill rather than a wolf kill. I feel like the wolves wouldn't want to shoot down a possible scapegoat.
On my phone so can't quote the post but re: Vis at the top of Dubz's reads, I think it would be more of a noob move to panic in a corner and retaliate by killing Dubz just since she was suspicious of Vis. She didn't even wind up voting to yeet Vis ultimately. Seems like Dubz was killed to set someone up OR because the wolves thought she would sniff them out.

That's exactly where I'm stuck on Vis. Can't decide if it's too obvious or not.

For now, even though I think the kill has the potential to be nooby, I'm going to assume it was a setup (or they just had other motivations to kill Dubz) because I don't think Vis would make that move if she was part of the pack. Maybe if she was second or third wolf read, but it feels too obvious when she's Dubz's number one sus and I think she'd make a more strategized move.
