It’s okay, me too. A few hours before my quiz yesterday, my classmate told me about these super helpful powerpoints hidden under a flag on the main page. But not the “resources” flag, oh no they had to be under the “additional resources” tab and all the way at the bottom of another page 😡

And then I found out about some helpful but optional dissection videos on a completely different page and I wanted to scream.
I'm convinced they put everything in the wrong places to weed out the people who don't have the sheer willpower to navigate Canvas every day 😂

Since we haven’t had any actual flips yet these are mostly just leans and feels for where I’m at on everyone.

Village:
Animal Midwife - Feels like village!wife. Her pushes and responses make sense from what I would expect from village!wife.

WildZoo - Not really seeing Wolf Dubz here. It feels like wolf!Dubz likes to drive the thread a little more than this.

alleycat03 - I want to village read her from her early D1 activity. Felt like genuine village game solving. Would have liked to have seen more from her later on in the cycle though. It felt like she sort of disappeared.

samac - Feels like village samac to me. Not as active as we’ve seen before but you can’t expect every game to have the same level of activity, with varying irl obligations. But her posts felt like her chaotic village energy.

Truenamer - Seems like a village nooblet. Idk what to say, just has that game 1 village noob energy. I’d be shook if there’s a wolf here.

potentialsheltervet - Overall I’m agreeing with their posts and I can follow their logic and thought process. Feels like it’s coming from a village mindset.

Neutral:
Lawpy - Top of my neutrals. I’ve legitimately never seen wolf!Lawpy so I’m not sure what to look for this early on, but feels genuine and village.

Aprilthearab - April is pinging me enough to make me think this is probably village April. There hasn’t been anything so far that makes me go “holy cow this is so wolfy. This has to be village April” so I’m leaving her in neutrals for the moment, but tentative village side of neutrals.

Melchizedek - I didn’t like the April vote without reasoning (at the time of the vote) and then dip but the response he gave me when asked about it was what I’d expect village Mel to say. Mel always seems wolfy to me but I’ll leave him as neutral.

SportPonies - I often find sporty to be very wolfy regardless of affiliation, and maybe I’m getting used to that and learning to read it better. Still not sure overall. Neutral.

Viscernable - I can see the arguments against Vissy. I’ve also seen those arguments made against village!Vissy so I’m hesitant to wolf read her. Neutral for now. Hoping to get a better idea from this cycle.

justafluff - Still not sure overall but I’ve come out of my tunnel and I’m willing to admit I could have been wrong. I liked a lot of Fluffy’s posts later in the cycle and found them to be agreeable. Will keep an eye out going forward since what I liked came after pressure was applied.

bluestoat - Not sure. A lot of her posts are wigging me out, but I remember she was a bit of a loose cannon in her noob game too. I could see this going either way tbh.

genny - Not sure overall yet. Didn’t like her pressuring me to vote on thread when she was keenly aware of my thought process on people. Didn’t like that she convinced me off the Kal vote, but I do get the reasoning of wanting to give Kal a chance when she hasn’t played in a while. I’m a sucker for that and Genny knows it. Wolf side of neutrals.

Wolfy:
vetmedhead - Didn’t like the April vote, or reasoning for it. Didn’t like her take on Alley either, especially because Alley is usually low hanging fruit but I’ve felt really good about her play this game. Overall VMH’s posts and pushes just feel off to me. There’s not a lot of content to analyze but what there is, I’m not a big fan of.

They’ve all posted a few things that have pinged me, and they’re more wolfy than not. But with so few posts between them I need to see more and will focus on their play today. I think there’s probably at least in wolf hiding in here, probably more:
violetvett
IvyMoose
zuriburi
puppydogtor
OctopusDoctorpus
Youngkal

Won’t Vote Here:
WorthlessOxygen - Hasn’t really posted much to get a good read but I wouldn’t have the heart to vote for my own noob their first game after the noob game.
Hmm 🤔

D1
RVS is bunkkkk
True votes only
Nah

Vote Mel
Wait explain clearly
Mel being grouchy about RVS -> place random vote on Mel
...
WOW, Mel really does have wolf vibes, they weren't kidding
Really? I think he sounds like a villager so far.
I’m not known for reading Mel well, but why do you say that?
...
Really? I think he sounds like a villager so far.
You'd have to forgive the noobest of us, he does stand out....
This feels weird to me. The votes on Mel at this point were jokes, Lawpy, Dubz, Vis (at least that’s how I interpreted them), but this feels like trying to add legitimacy and grow the largest wagon by throwing shade from a distance. It’s not much but this pings me.
...
Ah, and here we already have the dilemma or whether this is village!noob weirdness or wolf!noob getting caught in a lie.
This is where I'm at. I did the data generation, now its up to y'all to interpret. I fully admit to always over/under-reading new players.
...
Ok here is where I am at, because I haven't had any strong wolf pings yet.

Nooblets are a mystery to me entirely, and I find voting them out D1 both harmful for morale and not overall helpful for identifying their packmates. So, y'all get a D1 pass from me, this game at least.

I won't be voting lawpy, kal, or meats out today since they haven't played in a while, unless they literally come in here howling.

I have tentative village points for Mel, AM, and genny. Vis always pings me D1 so I'm marinating on that. April hasn't pinged me but I also don't have village points for her yet, so I'm going to read back through her posts. Alley is off-limits d1.

I think that leaves sporty

So I might just reread and see what I find. In the meantime...

unyeet Mel
Talk to me about Visc. I’m getting sheeping feels re: my questioning of truenamer, but I remember that she and I are on the same page a lot as villagers and it could be I was just on thread before her.
Some of her earlier posts felt a bit lackluster/asking things just to appear to be participating. Maybe because I immediately understood what AM was getting at when she quoted pippy, but the clarification questions on that felt a titch excessive. Her questioning of Truenamer felt more authentic.
...
Vote April
Hard side eye at anyone sitting on an RVS vote rn @Lawpy @Viscernable @SportPonies @vetmedhead @OctopusDoctorpus off the top of my head
are you actually reading the thread, or....?
No, I save all my reading for a half hour before vote close. The thrill makes me feel alive
Okay, now that you’re back can you explain your April vote? That felt like it came out of nowhere.
I truly hate voting when I’m not fully informed. I’ve barely read half the thread at this point. I’m feeling better about fluff and true, kind of bothered about youngkal’s handling of the moose pressure vote and zuriburi’s reasoning for voting me feeling like they’re misrepresenting the situation. Both small pings but I’m pretty lost and behind. And overall I have felt better about zuriburi.

Unyeet mel
Yeet youngkal
I was between patients and saw the tally. I wanted to see how votes would play out the rest of the day if she was also at 2 votes and tied with several other people who had 2 votes at that time.
So you’re voting for someone you weren’t actually wolf reading?
Yeet Mel.

In addition to the subtle support and emphasis of Mel only being a joke wagon, Mel attacking neither flipped wolf once is fun. And this is only from the day cycle.

Additionally, he calls meat out for rng voting after he already voted April with her. No focus is on Zenge who has not voted at all.

Are you making a case for wolf!Mel? Didn’t you already say you don’t think Mel and Zenge are compatible in our PM?

He was trying so hard to pocket me and use the low hanging fruit argument on me!! Lmao

In all seriousness Mel, I am over 40 pages behind on the thread and not even able to keep up with the current pages generated.

You are 40 pages behind. For a split second, consider that you don’t have the most informed opinion and are selectively seeing what you want to see from the scattered data you are gathering while being behind.

@Aprilthearab do you believe that Mel protected True on N2?

There's really no way for us to know except for his word which I'm not inclined to automatically believe because woof
Fluff, April is not the most well informed person to weigh in about whether I’m a villager or wolf. She’s not been able to read and is selectively choosing to see what she wants to see. This is bad villaging

You say that as if I wasn't wolf reading the two wolves that have been caught so far

You say that as if I wasn't wolf reading the two wolves that have been caught so far
Really because by my count zenge wasn’t even on your radar until alley made a lot of noise about him and Visc you weren’t even worried about until Saturday/Sunday after people were already discussing Visc.

By this same logic if you think you’re so clear from their flips, why do you refuse to acknowledge that I was the first one to seriously consider zenge when I re-evaluated my reads? A move you jumped down my throat for?

I don’t have a whole lot of time before work but here are the zenge mentions that stood out to me from AM

dubz showed Zenge has a night and day vote pattern from every wolf game compared to his village game.

I don't see fluff as wolfy so I'm surprised she's that far down. I guess I'm also surprised you have anyone over Zenge.
Says Zenge should be at the top of anyone’s village list.

But do you feel better about them than black and white evidence of Zenge's vote timing?
Pushing a dead villager’s logic to defend a wolf.

No, it was completely serious. And I believe it's very AI.

Doubtful it will be AI after this game but the tell came too late for Zenge to fake it this game.
Continuing to shove the late vote theory down people’s throats.

You didn't? I thought Zenge has been good.
Defending Zenge
Once again in response to my zenge discussion, trying to push conversation away from him by “meh”ing my discussion.
He's slightly village.
Zenge was her top village read in her reads list and she’s been defending him and pushing the theory that his late votes had to make him black and white village. but suddenly Zenge becomes a “slight” village read?

This is wolf AM.

@Melchizedek you keep calling me out for missing information and yet you haven't said a single thing the multiple times I gave a very valid explanation for AM's defense of Zenge that's based on very strong evidence from previous games

Again. I would be willing to explore AM. BUT. The Zenge defense is not it.

You want to dismiss it as AM having a blind spot for zenge, good for you maybe that’s enough for you, but I’ve never thought “meta” was a good reason to clear anyone. Meta can be manipulated as we JUST saw with Zenge. You’ve given A explanation not the end all be all explanation.

My point is that your only argument for wolf!AM is something that is COMPLETELY NAI for AM.

If you have another reason I'd be happy to entertain the idea

Fine if it’s NAI, the put aside that it’s Zenge specifically and look at the facts:

AM has been inconsistent about someone that she thinks was a strong village read. Enough to push people away from discussing him.

Enough to push an incorrect theory about that person being village, and dismiss any discussion about them.

then suddenly when that person isunder pressure, he becomes a “slightly village” read.

Go ahead and try to tell me that’s not a wolf, I need a good laugh

Is this really the first time you've seen AM lock down on a certain logic early in the game and defend it for the entire game because SHE believes it's infallible just for it to be wrong?

All I hear is Meta meta meta 🙄

Should I remind you of MY meta? About how I caught you D1 off of a handful of posts, and then also caught Dubz the next day?

Is it inconceivable that my AM feels from her lawper conversation on D1 are possibly right, and now we’re seeing evidence of it?

What game was that?

Sure, it's possible. BUT. I need evidence that is not NAI.

Nope try again. You don’t get to be 40 pages behind and dismiss my theory as NAI. Once again we’ve proven that people can know their metas and play right into them to get village cred. If you’re going to fall for the same trick twice in one game, you need to really question your ability to learn from your mistakes.

Where did I make a mistake this game about village reading a wolf before they flipped?

Shortly after I started reconsidering Zenge, Visc, and AM and you and sporty were trying to say I’m sketchy for it.
I was wolf reading both Zenge and Vis when they flipped. Reads are allowed to evolve with new info. Sure, I had a couple wrong village reads early in the game, but I don't know what you mean by fixing my mistakes when I did fix them on my own before they flipped.

Can you not strawman my argument. You gave zenge village cred, you walked it back after people started making noise about him. Good for you. This has nothing to do with why people think I’m wolfy or my case against AM.

Okay, where did I say you were sketchy specifically because of your pushes on Zenge and Vis?

Hey @cubsrule4e you want to quote me those wolf!Dubz quotes from the SHOTS wolf PM where she got annoyed that I was on wolf!April D1 and then wolf!Dubz D2?

lololol I would but she got mad at me when I did it before. I dont want to be the N1 kill for the next 3 games.

Also

Starting next cycle we will be switching to 12hr/12hr unless there there are multiple reasonable objections as the roster will be around 10 players and fatigue has begun to set in.

honestly, I really like Mel's argument for AM being a wolf.
According to my notes, which are severely lacking due to school, at some point Vis defended Mel and it stuck out to me. I don't have the time right now to find it, but I will try this evening before the vote closes. When I wrote that down it made me feel like Mel was a wolf, but I think it deserves another read to see if it comes across differently since Vis flipped wolf.

Decided to try finding it now, and I didn't. The only thing that was close to what I could've been thinking about was Vis's posts about True and Mel which seem kinda irrelevant to me now. Never mind then

Are you making a case for wolf!Mel? Didn’t you already say you don’t think Mel and Zenge are compatible in our PM?
I am. My thoughts changed after meats flipped and I actually saw with clear eyes how much interliking/raw support happens every cycle except miraculously before Vis's "rojo".

Hey @Melchizedek why did you not respond to my D1 ISO? It's the least incriminating one of all cycles and you have nothing to say?

I have a couple of tests today so I'm unlikely to do an in-depth ISO on Mel until after close, but anyone else is welcome to compare what was said from N1 between flipped wolves up until Zenge's death (including how how Mel went from saying "Vis isn't it" for two consecutive cycles to switching to her minutes before the claim/"rojo").

I see that personhood has been granted to the wolves, while we humble stoats of the village are gutterballs, strikes, pins, and shoes. I object to this two-dimensional village representation and petition to hereafter be listed as "Marchioness Azul, Strike, Vanillager." The good Marquess should also be appropriately titled. Perhaps Marquess Veracity of the Gutterball.

I'm also not passing my vision that there's almost exclusive focus on Zenge/AM and not Vis/AM. If you looked into the latter, you'd come across the examples of the B word and his case would be slightly more real than i².

You're welcome to look at my progression on Vis and/or my interactions with Vis, @Melchizedek unless you're afraid of something.

Because your first point is fair, but it’s also contingent on saying that Visc bussed me early and then Zenge bussed me also on D1. I buy the Visc part but you are REALLY stretching if you want to say that they BOTH decided that putting me on the board D1 was a good idea when more often than not, it’s those out of nowhere last minute wagons that do me in.

I call out anyone sitting on RVS votes that close to end of D1. You have noted this yourself so you’re arguing that a village tell of mine is wolfy?

Show me where I got in the way of Visc’s vote wagon? I pushed YK and never shut down discussion about Visc. Unlike you shutting people down for considering wolf!zenge.

I was re assessing Visc the IRL night before that day and then had work the next morning so I couldn’t be on to do more analysis.

I'm going to do this day by day to make it less overwhelming for myself.

D1 Mel ISO

Tried to narrow it down to the quotes I found most interesting. Mel seems very focused on True's read of AM as village at first.
Hm. Doesn't want to make up their mind of Vis.
Villager trying something out, or wolf seeing if a bandwagon will happen? Flip floppy.

(Note: Zenge replied to this during the night in their readlist hours later, NOT as a direct reply.)

Not sure what to make of all this. It's very sheepish and flip floppy from Zenge, but Mel doesn't really question Zenge.

Subtly defending Vis (a wolf) after zuri (a villager) makes a logical vote. Sketchy.

YK and Mel fighting. It seems genuine? Maybe it's just all of the punctuation from YK lol. I feel like that's some pretty good acting there if they're w/w though. They go back and forth a little more that goes into N1.

Into N1 now.

Mel questions my motives along with puppy and lawpy.

Just to restate, I honestly thought (and still think) fluff is village from their methods/tone/etc. Someone else will have to analyze that quote since I'm biased obviously.

Two confirmed wolves in the village-leaning pile. YK is still wolf-leaning here.

So yeah, not sure if that was helpful or not. Most interesting to me was that Mel didn't want to comment on Vis, didn't question Zenge and all Zenge ended up was with a neutral read on them, and the little spat with YK. I'll do D2/N2 after I make dinner.
i constantly forget about time zones in this game as you were making dinner at 12:20am my time and i was like damn why so late
