Hi guys,

I'm scheduled for the may 6th test date and just finished content review

I have exactly 5 weeks to do more practice tests (I did 2-3 TPR already) and I wanted to know if taking next weekend off (fri aft-monday morn) for a family vacation would be really detrimental to my studying...i can't decide if i should go with them or not

thanks in advance for your advice 🙂

It won't kill you. I made it a habit to take 1 day off a week when I was studying. Just make sure you're staying on schedule with your studying and adjust as you see fit in order to go on the vacation

Ya I just don't want to get exhausted from the trip and have a bad week afterwards that's why I'm hesistant to go 🙁

A few days won't kill you. Look at it like a reward for moving from content review to test and practice probs. Family is family, and you don't know how much of them you're going to see in the coming years. If you're worried about exhaustion, just keep whatever you're doing moderate.

I can't tell if you're being serious. Taking a single weekend off won't hurt you. By the time I only had a month off, I still had all of P/S to content review and had only done 1 FL. I finished everything I wanted to with a week to spare and this is being at school full time and not taking any time off from any activities I enjoyed doing.

Lol I'm serious this is my 3rd (and last) mcat I'm taking so the thought of vacation just doesn't seem right now
