Any current Brown medical students or people familiar with last year's admissions cycle know when the Brown invites stop? I've pretty much given up on them, but thought I'd throw this out there in case anyone has some info.

Thanks.

there is a thread, which I think I've seen, called something like Brown interview > acceptance, a couple of current students there posted some info, i'd message them. I think many people who get invites get turned off by the fact that there are only 30 seats for AMCAS people. however, they don't realize that brown interviews fewer than 200 people 😱😱😱, and accepts 70-80 people to fill 30 seats. so once you get an interview, your chances of getting in ain't that bad

Last year Brown continued to send out invitations to interview at least in January if not february and a good section of the class interviewed in Feb, but it's hard to say how things will change this year especially because the number of applicants to Brown keeps rising sharply while the number of spots are still very tight. I wouldn't stress out or lose hope just yet though, contact admissions and let them know of your interest or an update letter, and best of luck.

A buddy of mine is brown (hispanic), and got a pre-match offer from UT-Southwestern. He is a really smart dude, and will be a great doctor. I am happy for him.

To the best of my knowledge, the interview cycle for brown people ends at the same time as it does for everyone else.

I am not sure if my sarcasm detector is off or if he is actually being serious about his Hispanic (brown) friend

However, when I think "brown" I think "south-Asian", not Hispanic.

I received an interview invite today for their last interview date... which is this Thursday (Feb. 28th). Despite the very short notice I couldn't be happier!!!
