BS/DPM Joint Degree, any feedback helps

Hello, I am a recent highschool graduate.
I have been offered a spot at Pace University/NYCPM undergraduate 7 year joint degree program, and have been dwelling on this issue for some time.
I definitely know that I want to work in the healthcare profession
I have also been accepted to 6 year joint Pharm Degree programs, but for now I have chosen to attend Pace/NYCPM because I want to actually interact with patients and stuff.
Well, my real worries are as follows.

1. I do not know that the acceptance rate from Pace undergrad to NYCPM is. School says I need a 3.4 GPA and average MCAT, but who knows what's going to happen.
2. I wish to speak to someone who graduated from the Pace program and attended/is attending NYCPM, and what their view on the program is
3. My brother also took a 7 year dental program, but he told me that he was really underprepared for dental school because of only 3 years of undergrad education. I am afraid that this may be a downside as well. Do you guys have any opinions on this?

If there are anybody that can give me feedback on this 7 year joint degree program, please let me know anything!

I just wanted to let everyone know that the Pace University/NYCPM thing is a big marketing gimmick. I'm pretty sure that in general, you DON'T need a bachelors degree to get into pod school (or MD school for that matter). My alma mater, Scholl/RFUMS, requires 90 semester hours to matriculate, in other words 3 years of college. You could realistically do it in 5 semesters.

As an added bonus, RFUMS throws in a BS degree in biological sciences for making it through the first year. I'm sure the other pod schools have a similar offering.

My advice, if DPM is the way you want to go, do undergrad at Pace or WHEREVER, take your MCAT sophomore year, apply to NYCPM/RFUMS/wherever junior year. If/when you get in, just drop out of undergrad. A bachelors degree won't matter in the long run, and you'll save a year of tuition that way.

You're correct with regard to this statement for podiatry, but someone would be severely misled to think the same regarding M.D. school - a B.S./B.A. is a requirement for most general medical programs in the U.S., whether explicitly stated by the school or simply de facto via the schools' admissions committees. Many acceptances have matriculation dependent on the student completing the undergraduate degree and will not permit students who "drop" their undergraduate studies after admission to matriculate.
