BU MAMS, UCinn SMP, or USC MSGM?

I know USC isn't your typical SMP, but it's in California and that's where I'd like to stay.
And it sounds like a good amount of USC grads get into UC MD's.

UCinn seems to get a majority of their grads into UCinn med school, which is Amazing!

BU has a well established history and program with an option to do a concentration

HOW TO DECIDE?! it seems as though all three would be a good SMP program from reading all the forums!! 😕

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Here's a general guideline: if your academic record is such that can't get into a medical school without an SMP, you probably can't get into a UC even WITH an SMP. The UCs are pretty SMP-proof. If you have less than a 3.5, you might want to consider changing your goals from acceptance into a UC to acceptance anywhere.

I know pretty much nothing about the USC MSGM.

BU MAMS is a good program. It's not geared toward supporting a same-year application and probably won't get you into BU, but its success rate is very high for the year after. And you get something productive to do with the gap year!

University of Cincinnati SMP does get a lot of their grads into the University of Cincinnati Med School, and those that do only pay in-state tuition. Cincinnati SMP grads have gotten into a lot of other schools as well, although very few get into California schools. UC SMP is really good at supporting a same-year application.
