BU optional essay?

it seems like that they "don't" want an extra essay unless you really really really want to add something...
is that true? or shoudl i write one anyway?

also, are we supposed to log in only the courses that fulfill the requirements for the course requirement section? or all the semesters of courses you took under that discipline? and can you double count if you want to have biochem count for chem requirement?

confused... help?

i needed biochem for chem requirement also. I didn't double count, but explained it in the space allowed. And i didn't write anything for the optional.
 
I used the space to put an essay about my research. I'm sure a lot of people will take the opportunity to talk about different things. If you don't have anything you really want to say, leave it blank, but I'm sure you've written something for another school that will fit there nicely. Just don't put something random, make it important if you're going to put anything.
 
I wrote about my interest in the school and why i'm applying there.
 
I didn't write an optional essay because I felt that I had said everything in my personal statement and short BU answers. I would have written something though if they were my number one choice.
