Yeah, even I found it to be a pretty cold wolf move, and ... well ... everyone knows DVMD and I don't share the sandbox together well. Targeting the experienced people out the gate is getting kinda old. Makes me want another account. (Yeah, yeah, TOS...)
I dunno about the connection, though. I feel like I've got reasonably moderate Buffy knowledge, and I didn't make the connection. I lean more toward it being just another sucky "take out a veteran" opening move.
Regarding the kittens ... yeah, almost certainly Spike. He's the one who dragged Buffy off to the kitty-currency poker party. Not sure what that tells us, though. No big surprise to think somebody has a Spike role.
Somebody commented on roles and hoping Kendra wasn't a seer. I'd think that's unlikely. First: Why would you expect a slayer to be a seer? My first thought would be to assume a slayer had some sort of - you know - slaying ability. Second: Just practicality ... if I were the mod and were trying to put together roles, I think it'd be more natural to assign a seer role to someone like Giles, Willow, etc. You know - the bookworms. Dunno, WS, that slayer/seer comment just seems odd to me.
As far as the lynch.... lynch Trematode. It's really weak, but I just felt like the haste to jump on the "knowledgeable Buffy" thing set off alarms.
