Awhile back someone posted a chart with microbes and the associated drug(s) used to treat each specific one. Does anyone have something similar? I'm having trouble retaining the associations without a visual representation. The information is scattered out too much in FA to make one. Thanks

Never used any. Once you understand the categories of bugs:
Gram stain, special media, other characteristics, and then the classes of drugs, you won't need to memorize it.

The samfords guide has a chart in the back with antibiotics and what bugs they cover, but remember there are always exceptions. Also, just google and you will find a pharmacist or ID physician who has something online that you are looking for.

Is there a good source that explains micro-pharm well? There must be a better way to memorize therapeutics than one by one for each bug. There are so much overlap between drug uses, how can one tell which one to choose?

Don't memorize drugs for each bug, memorize spectra for each class/subclass of antibiotic.
