get a good gpa, mcat score, and get some good experience, and you'll be fine

that advice is generic enough, isnt it 😛

I would alsl suggest to see your pre-med advisor, they should be able to help you.

Yeah, I think you should go ahead and apply anyway. You never know unless you try! 🙂

Don't forget to apply early!

Fasten your photos to your secondaries with clear tape or glue, not staples. 😀

Be sure and ask "how many students per cadaver" at your interviews!! They love that question.😀

yes, i think a post-bacc is necessary

Have to disagree with Neuronix. April is better because you can get your applications in earlier!

You had better just take it in both April and August to be extra safe.

5 points more in August cause you studied harder beats applying early.

You can always do a post-bacc year (like me!). All that pressure to take in April... You don't have to do it! Don't have a bad mark by doing bad the first time cause you weren't prepared!

/me ducks for more incoming flames

i'd consider doing a mock interview with someone who can give constructive criticism and feedback. remember to know your application, but not to give canned answers.

and see if you can stay with a student host the night before

Seriously? I've had good luck with "Where does your school get it's funding?" while bashing the state budget of Illinois (WARNING! DO NOT USE AT UIC!).

Have you checked out interview feedback on SDN? 🙂

This is effective as well. Also ask, "what is your schools US-news ranking", they love that question also.😀

Cheers,
DALA

keep your head up.😎

Try Astroglide. I think it is much better than KY.

But only if you've done your research ahead of time and know that they have a good ranking. 😉

You should also make sure to review all your application materials and brochures from the school before your interview. 🙂

Wear a penis tie during the interview.

to access georgetown's admissions office, press "4" when the automated prompt begins speaking. otherwise, u'll have to listen for 2 minutes as they tell u the various department extensions. talk about wasting ld minutes....

And make sure to send thank-you notes after your interviews. 😀

Be sure to email the "maxed the MCAT" guy 'cause I am sure he has some good advice for ya!

Apply to a good range of schools and remember, there is no such thing as a safety med school.

don't forget to get the nicotine patch for those long airplane flights and interview days.

even if it's blistering hot, do not take off your suit jacket and roll your sleeves up. track-marks on your arms will not leave a good impression, i assure you.

I swear, I am gone for not even TWO days, and you guys fall apart like this???!?!?!?!?

How could you forget to tell him about the COCK RING!!!!

and in hunter green at that!!!!

Sorry, as a mom I have to stand by the clean underwear recommendation. We're all required to say that from time to time!

I go commando to every interview. Fighting to be free in a stuffy suit.

it's not cool to make me spit on my keyboard by making me laugh so hard!

don't forget to offer a cigarette to your interviewers. it's rude to light up in front of them and not share.
