Does every dentist have to deal with the business aspect of the profession? I don't really have a mind for business but think that I would still make a wonderful dentist. I'd like to go into business with someone else - is this common or do most dentist open their own practice?

The vast majority of dentists are solo general dentists. However having said that fewer recently are going directly into running their own business. Many are becoming associates then partners leaving much of the business to the senior dentist. I would discourage you from becoming a "employee dentist" of a clinic owned by a insurance company or agency as a long term carrer choice.
