Which classes are considered 'science?' Does it include math? Also if you retake classes how to you calculate your gpa, specifically the science gpa? Thanks

Refer to the Pharmcas FAQ... they do say how the GPA is calculated. If you're talking about schools, then it differs from school to school.

Personally, I find it really difficult and kind of pointless to try to figure out your own science/math/overall gpa. Pharmcas does it for you and some schools re-calculate it their own way anyway, so you cant really figure out your exact averages.

From what I understand for UF they only calculate the GPA for their pre-reqs.

For instance I made a "C" in Pre-Cal, but an "A" in Calculus, so they will only count the "A" because Calculus is a pre-req, but not Pre-Cal.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong...
