california residents & tufts

I recently interviewed at Tufts and was one of the 2 California students present at the interview (about 40 other students were interviewed, 20 total interview sessions, so around 800 total interviewees, for those of you who are curious). I was wondering as to the chance that an out of stater, like myself, getting into Tufts. I noticed that last years class had 24 Californians matriculate (so roughly 40-50 accepted, I'm guessing?). If anyone has any insights into this query, please respond. Thanks.

Well, being that it's a private institution they show no preference to any state. In fact, the majority of students at Tufts (if I recall from my interview) are not from Massachussetts. So I'd say just sit tight and see what happens, that's what I'm doing
