WTF requires (ahem, politely asks for) your input! 😀

We are having a door decorating contest at the hospital. My office/residentmate and I are entering. So far, all we have got is a boiled down dog skull with a Santa hat on it; already had to take down our meme collage (Yes. We are nerds. Don't judge us). What are some good ideas for a grotesquely funny veterinary pathology decoration? Bones? Knives? Spiderwebs made to look like omentum? Slide chimes? Will share the pic with you when we're done. It will be epic.

First thing that comes to mind is Santa on his sleigh with his skeletal reindeer.
Or a reindeer necropsy! Have the reindeer in a room with a glass window and have Santa and his reindeer at the window looking horrified at Rudolph being ripped apart by a crazy pathologist.
Lol. I am bad at this!

Haha nice! Skeletal reindeer pulling a Santa that will will paste one of the technicians faces on. Then maybe elves dancing around with the pathologists faces on them. Tee hee

We had one of these in elementary school (takin it back haha) where my classroom built out the front of the door to look like a fireplace, complete with mantle, framed pictures, fake fire and mini stockings hanging it.

You could do this, but with a more pathology-esque twist - your skull with santa hat sitting on the top of the fireplace mantle, stocking hooks could be some sort of small bone, and pictures above the fireplace be of interesting slides in festive red/green or something. When we did it we also put a picture of the top of our teacher's head poking down the fireplace - have any heavily bearded professors you could joke with?

And there's my creative exercise for the day. Back to virology.

(My idea of a nativity scene with a dog cadaver as baby jeebus and vet students surrounding it is probably not exactly PC enough for display outside of my head).

And I thought I was the only one who boiled animal heads😳

For some reason the Microbiology department puts a deer skeleton decorated with a santa hat and a bunch of christmas ornaments outside the administrative office every year.... no idea why, other than it is awesome.
