I was wondering if anyone has or had an interview at Campbell? Mine is on November 8th. Does anyone know anything about Campbell and if people like it?

Hi, I received my completed application email on 9/20 and received an interview invite about 2 weeks ago. Hope that helps!
I have an interview on November 8th, too. I submitted PharmCAS on June 29th, and everything was completed before September. I actually never received confirmation from Campbell, but I did call up there to check on everything. The admissions officers are BY FAR the friendliest staff I have ever talked with, definitely a selling point for me. I went on a tour of the campus a few weeks ago and I loved it. Maddox Hall is the new pharmacy building and it's beautiful. Granted, P1s still have their classes in the old building.
I have an interview on 11/14. Please let me know how yours goes! I did my undergrad at a private christian university, so I am pretty sure I know what they want to hear...
I was thinking whether or not to answer the stats question...I'm going to answer it as follows:
PCAT 70-80 Composite
GPA 3.5+
I DO have a degree
I have many leadership activities
I didn't want to answer the question because I feel like it's going to either give people false hope, or maybe make some people 100% positive that they are going to be called in for an interview.
However, please pay attention here: There is no golden rule for admissions, I hope everyone realizes that. Just because you have a 4.0, doesn't mean that you are guaranteed an interview/acceptance. I could list plenty of examples that can affirm this. As for the person that has a 4.0, I'm guessing that you are either in the beginning of your Sophomore year or maybe Junior year. Also, just because you have a 60 on the PCAT doesn't mean you're out of the running. Many factors play in the admission officer's eye.
With this said, keep hope and have fun with the waiting process!
yea I'm beginning my junior year....also my PCAT was 92% and I've had over a year of pharm tech experience + hospital and lab experience...
kinda weird I haven't gotten an interview yet...I think it may have something to do with being a minority because I heard they have a quota on that....

probably the most ignorant thing ive heard on SDN in a while

how is that ignorant?? You must not know Campbell, because if you did, you would know they are Christian affiliated and they DO FOR A FACT have a quota on people who are non-Christian. and YES they can do that because they are PRIVATE.

Gee.... do you think it might be because you project an air that they aren't interested in? I mean, in an earlier post you stated that you "expect" an interview, as if you are entitled to one.
On the adcoms and review boards that I've sat on, we used the "I deserve it because I'm great!" attitude as one of our first cuts. Students (let's emphasize students here) who project that air of superiority tend, in my experience, to be not very good team players.
I wish you luck in your endeavors. Since you didn't get called for an interview (and those lesser people with inferior qualifications did, oh my), it appears that you might just need a little luck.
Or humility.

Your post had nothing whatsoever to do with my issue presented. Instead of talking about the school, you brought in a completely different issue-my personality. I am actually a humble person and I never act superior. If I wanted to do that, I would brag about how good I am, but I didn't. I just put things that showed my dedication to this career. Thanks for your feedback though, I like to be judged online by someone I have never talked to...
maybe this quote of yours " kinda weird I haven't gotten an interview yet." should be worded differently if you considered yourself to be a humble person. I believe all the people here + adcom people dont know you at all; when they see that statement, it presented a totally different story.
added to that, so why did you apply there at the first place if you know there is quota with the school that for sure makes you more inferior to other applicants? I don't get it.
"kinda weird I haven't gotten an interview yet" ---> As in, I'm surprised I haven't gotten an invitation yet, no arrogance there, it's just a statement.
And yes just because I stand less of a chance at getting in that school, does not mean I want to go there. It's a great school and I have no problem that it's Christian affiliated. The school was built on certain morals, therefore they have every right to select candidates that they think would abide by them. Honestly, I think you are just trying to start confrontation that's not necessary.
Just got an interview for the middle of December!
congrats!!!
when did you get all of your stuff turned in by?
Hey UNCboy...you know about the school in Chapel Hill? It's pretty good.
Of course, I'm biased because that's where I spend most of my waking hours.
While I love the stabs back and forth, it's distracting to the real purpose of "Campbell Interviews."
