Hello,

I am in my 4th year right now, and I am applying for dental schools the next cycle. However, I am short of a "core course" to complete my major this school year. That's mean I will have to take a course while I apply for dental school the next cycle. Can I still take a course while applying? How will this course be considered in my GPA? Thanks!

I don't think it should be a problem in terms of applying for dental schools. If you take the course 1st semester (next fall), you can include it under "Planned/In Progress" courses in your AADSAS application and the dental schools will be able to see this as part of your application. When you finish the course and grades are released, you can resend your transcripts to AADSAS and they'll update your academic coursework/AADSAS GPA.
Hope this helps.
