Veterinary Can I use study abroad classes to fulfill veterinary prerequisites?

I'm planning to study abroad at the University of Edinburgh and wanted to take microbio and physiology to fulfill those veterinary prereqs. Will US vet schools accept these classes taken at a foreign institution? They are both listed as upper level sciences and otherwise seem completely equivalent to classes here in the US.

This is better asked directly to the institutions themselves. Not going to close as there are a few veterinary people here who may be able to discuss amongst their own program/familiar programs, but definitely consult with the schools themselves on this matter since its more policy than opinion.

I agree you need to ask the vet school admissions staff on their policies on non-US coursework. Be prepared to share the course syllabi if there is no such policy and they ask about details. Check the public veterinary forum too.

Ask the vet schools you're interested in applying to. If your college transcript (from your home institution) will include those, typically the vet schools will, as well. If you have to get a second transcript, it depends more on the individual schools.
