It is important to know the difference between vomiting and regurgitation because they are symptoms of different diseases. Vomiting is the forceful ejection of the stomach contents up the esophagus and through the mouth. Regurgitation is the backflow of undigested food (which has never reached the stomach) up the esophagus and through the mouth.

buti still want to know what plays a role in vomiting....les, abdominal muscle or something else

another update ....contraction of abdominal muscles and LES both play a role....but if both the choices are given...which one to pick...plz answer

its the forceful contraction of the abdominal muscles and the diaphragm that causes gastric contents to move up and out of the mouth .
another piece of info ....vomiting is initiated by direct activation of the vomiting centre or by activation of the medullary vomiting centre
source of info ....usmle road map ,chap 5,gastrointestinal physiology ,pg125.hope this helps clearing up ur query .
