Can someone please explain the PCAT scores?

I know that it is scaled from a 200-600 overall.

What would a 400 be equivalent to? A 50 percentile? What about a 500? I'm sorry, I know I am being dense, but I would appreciate if someone could explain it more in depth. Thanks!

400 = 50th percentile but the curve is different for each section and the composite. So, a 500 will mean slightly different percentiles for each section and the composite. However, a 500 is VERY HIGH and would indicate a 99 for every section and the composite. Such scores are really rare and usually are achieved by acing or coming close to acing a section or the test.
