Does anyone know if it is possible to transfer from one state school to another after the first year?

Very very difficult to do. It happens but it is pretty rare.

I don't know about from state to state. Here at Arizona we had two guys transfer into my D3 class this year. One from UCLA and another from Oregon.

some schools allow it, others dont. i suggest you look up the schools' websites and find out what their policies are.

Do you happen to know why those students from UCLA and Oregon transferred to your school? I know ASDOH is a great school because I interviewed there. But I'd like to know anything you can tell me about it because OHSU and UCLA are both schools I'm considering attending. Obviously, I'm considering ASDOH too but they haven't accepted me yet.
