If you want to be an Army doctor and apply for an HSPS scholarship, is it possible to use the scholarship for Caribbean schools or DO schools? Or can it only be used at Allopathic MS's?

Only US schools no caribbean. Both DO and MD are authorized.

And while your statement is 100% correct just an additional fyi (because a lot of people aren't aware) but Puerto Rico is fair game and is considered an AMG.

I just learned this myself a few months back, but I am pretty sure they require you to be fluent in both Spanish and English.

Yeah. Addition to that: I've met a few grads from the Puerto Rico schools who did HPSP but I don't think I've encountered one who wasn't a native Spanish speaker (first language) actually from Puerto Rico.

Also we have quite a few DO's in the military.

If you have post 911 GI Bill, you can use that for Carribean, prettt sure.
