Technology Can't access youtube no mo'

I tried to log onto youtube and got a message that I needed a gmail account (which I have). So I clicked "OK." Now I get this error message:

Too many redirects occurred trying to open “http://www.youtube.com/”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page.

Anyone care to elucidate?
