CAS Submission Date

Hey Guys,

Sorry if this has been addressed before but I was wondering when a good true submission date for CAS is? On the sfmatch site, it says the target date this year is September 2. However, across other posts, I have seen people have sent their CAS earlier and it seems to be correlated to getting interview offers earlier, having your application seen earlier and possibly increasing your odds of interviews, etc. Is early August the more appropriate deadline to give yourself (gives CAS the 2-3 weeks they need to process it and send it out)? Thanks!

I don't know how long it's taking now to get distributed but it seems like SFmatch has generally been doing a good job getting them out in less than a week. So if you get it to them 4-5 days before the target date, that would be great. If you do have letters at the ready and aren't waiting for AOA or grades, then any time around starting mid august is fine too, no point in stalling. This could translate to first dibs at an interview at the early places (CPMC, MCG?) but I doubt would really improve anyone's chance of matching since from browsing last years thread interviews come slowly starting mid September and do not really pick up until October.
