Case Western SMP vs Rutgers SMP

Hello all! So I have acceptances from the Case Western Medical Physiology MS program as well as an acceptance in the Rutgers SMP in Newark (dental scholar). I am from California, so both of these schools are out of state.

I'm having a hard time weighing the advantages and disadvantages of both programs for me and was wondering if anyone with experience with either program could help. I know Case Western is a private school and therefore expensive compared to Rutgers. Other than that, i'm not really sure how both programs compare to each other in terms of success rate and strength of program. Also do SMP students ever get financial aid or any awards other than loans?
