Probably a reason for it (just me speculating with no basis) perhaps to move up application season or maybe better testing center availability. Guessing a lot of programs wait until after the July CBSE because a decent chunk of people submit that score. Besides that don’t think it’ll make much of a big difference. Will maybe be worse if you’re taking it because those months tend to be busier for dental students in terms of midterms/finals. Would love to here if anyone’s heard any other reasons.

apparently dental anesthesia society still holds it in Feb / July, and those scores can be used for the app. I’m a bit skeptical of how a test from them looks in apps to programs
