I'd give admissions an email or a call. My letters were submitted and they received my composite packet, but my adviser had accidentally left a letter off. The email, if I remember correctly, was automated (sent out at like 2 or 3 am), so maybe you are missing something, or else they have your stuff but just haven't entered it in.

Either way, it wouldn't hurt to check. The admissions people are really nice and won't mind.

I interviewed Oct 17, still lookin at some other schools so i may or may not be in downer's grove in 2016 but its nice to have an acceptance!

Rejected last year, pre-interview. 3.76 cGPA, 3.6sGPA, 26Q mcat. (submitted ****ty essays)

Accepted this year, interviewed oct 4, 3.76cGPA, 3.6 sGPA, 27O mcat. (awesome essays)

Yeah has anyone's portal been update who interviewed this week? I interviewed on the 24th and still no update. 🙁 I thought we would be reviewed this committee meeting? Do they tell us about hold/rejection?

Yeah, I interviewed the 24th as well. I was also under the impression that we would be reviewed during this session. It might be processed chronologically, or over the course of a few hours/days. I am exceptionally excited at the prospect of attending CCOM, it is my absolute first choice school!

Yeah, I think you are correct. PPl have been saying that if you interview during the same week as the meeting your portal is updated by Friday morning. So it might be that we won't get an email this week but a acceptance via portal update tomm !

Stranger things have happened. There are people who have had 3 day turn-around reviews at CCOM this app cycle...furthermore at AZCOM people who interviewed on the 17th heard later that afternoon (I myself Interviewed the week before on a Wednesday). Everything in its own time.

I'm definitely choosing CCOM over AZCOM. Might be a different story if AZCOM's rotations were stronger. How about yourself? I think I remember you from the 10/7 interview.

I agree with you LBP. I was at CCOM 10/24 and fell in love with it. AZCOM is great but the clinical set up at CCOM is second to none IMO. Still waiting to hear.. hopefully something tomorrow!

Okay my SDN friends... I caved and called the admissions office lol.

The very kind lady on the phone told me my file was not reviewed at this past meeting.. so what it sounds like is those who interviewed this week probably were not reviewed. She stated the next meeting would likely be in 2-3 weeks.

If anyone knows otherwise please feel free to correct me. Otherwise we can probably lay off the obsessive portal checking lol.

So RELAX and enjoy the weekend 😀

Hey SRC, I guess that means that admissions committee didn't meet this Thursday? I had heard from students there say they were going to meet this Thursday (or every last Thursday of the month). But thanks for calling, this has really prevented some OCD behavior on my end.

hi everyone, I recently decided that I am insterested in applying to CCOM. Do you think it is a bit late to do so at this point?

3.7 cgpa 3.5 sgpa and 35Q

.So I sent out my secondary app in early august and I just received a rejection invite letter yesterday. Im pretty much figured that out a month ago... I just think its funny that they bothered to send a letter so late. Good thing I have an interview at other schools. With their poor response time, I would reconsider this school anyways. Im not here to bash. I justt wanted to share my story.

I don't know how much the lateness affects it. I turned in my secondary mid to late august, but our stats are similar (don't know your EC's) but I was accepted to this school, so id go for it!

hey guys, quick question, I did a search on this thread but couldn't seem to find an answer.

I applied to this school, submitted my secondary, and my status shows up as:

• Needed For Application to be Complete
  • Physician Recommendation Letter
  • Recommendation Letter

My rec letters are coming from my pre-med committee, the DO letter, can that be given at time of interview or post interview as well? I thought I read that somewhere,

i got the application complete email for ccom on 10/13.. havent heard anything yet in regards to an interview.. what was the time line for those who received an application? i know it hasnt been too long but the wait time is making me go crazy!

I was complete in the beginning of September and got an interview invite on 10/27. So don't give up hope if it has been a while since you were complete.

thats crazy too. this was one of my top four choices and i got an interview to my top 3 so im pretty proud 3/4 aint bad. The other schools i applied to had all sorts of issues in getting my letters of recommendations in. After several emails and calls, i finally gave up and realized they just wanted my money and nothing else.
