Chad quizzes vs Kaplan quizzes

Hi, guys. Thanks so much for all you help so far. Just had another question for the board.

Is viewing Chad's videos and doing the quizzes enough preparation for the Chem and ochem section?

Or should I do the kaplan quizzes/ section tests instead?

I only have a couple weeks until the test.

Chad's quizes are really a good way to test your understanding of his lectures. Once you are done with those i would really recommend going through destroyer. Kaplan's quizzes were really helpful for me.. especially for biology but it didn't hurt me when i didn't use them for chem/ochem.

In general, I'd advise that you use as many different resources as possible. Multiple study materials will give you a chance to tackle similar questions in a different perspective and sometimes, that's what you need to prepare for an exam like the DAT.

Chad's material, if you truly take the time and absorb everything in his videos and quizes, practically will guarantee you a 20 in the chemistries, however, he doesn't cover some reactions (can't remember). I think it's smart to supplement his material with Destroyer. I used Kaplan online as well, but for me it was a waste of time, especially the GC. I ended up getting a 24 in OC (would've been a 26 if I hadn't switched a question that was initially correct with 5 secs left...nerves got me) and 22 in GC.

Chad's questions reminded me a lot of the true DAT. Some of Destroyer is really hard because they make you do the math in your head which doesnt really pop up on the test. Kaplan GC is really difficult. If you can breeze through that you're in good shape.
