Hi, guys. I am almost through watching Chad's videos and doing the quizzes. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a place where it talked about the mistakes Chad made in his lectures or on the quizzes. It would be awful to go into the DAT not knowing I "mislearned" something.

Please let me know, thanks in advance!

there is a slight error in paramagnetic vs diamagnetic. he says paramagnetic is deflected by magnetic field. should say attracted to magnetic field. Other than that im amazed with the accuracy and delivery of chad. Although some of the shortcuts he gives (solubility rules/ acidic and basic salts) are not entirely foolproof but he gives a disclaimer and im convinced that they are adequete for DAT. There are also some small descrepancies in the ochem section where my textbook seems to have a different take on the subject but its mostly minor stuff and hasnt caused any problems for me.
Im with you though. it would be double awful to go into the DAT misinformed. Not only because youll get a lower score but also because you broke you back studying misinformation. For me that is the most annoying part of the DAT. Doesnt matter what source you are using, there will be mistakes that will waste your time and make you scratch your head for no reason. Which sucks because you pay top dollar and spend so much time drilling. Its frustrating to know that these companies will never get their act together.

Chad has acknowledged his error on paramagnetic in the forums section on their website.

I have to agree with rmm30 as I too am amazed with Chad’s accuracy. I’ve basically used Chad’s videos to refresh my memory on Gen Chem and O Chem; then, I am using Destroyer to apply the tactics that Chad proposes. So far it is amazing how well this is working out. Good luck.
