I know that everyone praises Chad's videos for the DATs, but I'd like some opinions on using his videos instead of attending chemistry lectures to learn. The reason I'm considering this is because I don't think my current professor explains things very well. Could I get some thoughts on this?

Go to class, and watch chads. the DAT cuts out 60% of the stuff you learn in college. Chads may be enough to do well on the DAT, but you will fail your college course if you only rely on him. If you need help with more topics regarding gen chemistry, also try Freelance teacher. Just google him. he is excellent, and FREE. Take care.
You could use the videos Chad made for the lectures on http://www.chadsreview.org. They are free and much more inclusive for lecture. The catch is they aren't targeted to DAT material so take 3X longer to get through.

Aj does chad have those kinda vids for physics review too?
Not yet. These were just the reviews he gave to the ASU classes and made them available on the web for those who couldn't make it. There isn't a cameraman or wireless mic setup but it is still good material.
