Hello. I just wanted to ask you guys about my chance.
I'm planning to apply in 2009 cycle.
I have 3.8 total and science GPA at UCLA with 24/25/22 DAT.
I'm doing research and shadowing at dental clinic.
My problem is that I have failed a Calculus class at Junior college which I attended while I was senior in high school.
I retook it and got an A. Actually, I'm pretty good at math and can prove it. (5s in AP Cals, 800 in both SAT, 27 in QR/DAT)
The reason I failed the class was that I did not understand the drop policy at college.
With the calculus class averaged in, I end up with 3.65 gpa.
What do you think my chances are?
Do you think the "F" will affect greatly?
I'm gonna apply to all 5 in Cali and some privates in other states.
Thank you for your time.
