Hi guys Im applying next cycle as soon as I can once it opens, was wondering how I look as a candidate. Overall GPA: 3.42. sGPA: 3.35. Last two years I had about a 3.8 GPA though. 24 AA/ 23TS/ 21 PAT/ 24 BIO/ 22 CHEM/ 23 OCHEM/ 23 RC/ 28 QR DAT. 700ish hours of shadowing. About 150ish hours volunteer. Have had a leadership position at my dental club on campus. CA resident, and planning to apply to California schools and many out of state as well.

Chances are great as long as you apply broadly, especially to non-CA schools. Your sGPA is not too low if you're concerned about that.

Our GPAs are very similar, you’ll be fine. Just make sure to apply broadly and to oos friendly schools
